Dance
What better way to get fit than dancing? While addressing multiple facets of fitness at once, dancing strengthens the cardiovascular system, increases flexibility and circulation, while restoring energy level. Adding a splash of excitement and creativity, campers will learn and experience a variety of techniques such as Jazz, Hip-Hop and more from some of the industry's best. This amazing blend of lyrically creative and energetic moves are specifically designed with your child in mind. These rhythmic moves are a total body work out.
Fitness
Today's demands of parenting along with technology and convenience are contributing to our youths' consumption of more junk and processed foods as well as less opportunity for physical activity. These growing trends are also a contribution to our youth facing far more health challenges at an epidemic rate than ever before. Taught by professional instructors, your child will learn various exercises and activities that are safe and suitable for his/her age. Previous campers have enjoyed learning proper warm up techniques, flexibility exercises, cardiovascular conditioning and good old fashion fun from a variety of sports conditioning games such as: Tug of War, Basket Ball Dribble Races, Balloon Relays, Sack Racing, Sports Conditioning, Yoga, Pilates and more!
Seminars
Yes, seminars during the summer but not your typical pen and paper, classroom style seminars. Camp participants will learn about topics ranging from basic nutritional positives and negatives to the pros and cons of different peer groups as it relates to their overall health as youths. Games and journaling sessions create the perfect environment for learning such valuable information all while having fun at the same time.
